Our Story
Rebel Road Hot Rod Garage was born in 1998. Following a father-son, backyard, restoration of a 1947 international. Sparking the passion of an 8 year old boy and classic vehicles, his dad named their “hot rod garage” after the street they lived on “Rebel Road,” in Smyrna, TN. 20 years later with the same passion now accompanied by his wife who also has a love for classic vehicles. Both resulted to building classic cars to survive a global pandemic. Using canceled wedding funds, Rebel Road Hot Rod Garage had its official opening in 2021.

Rebel Road has one goal in mind. Bring classic vehicles BACK TO LIFE! This isn't just our job, or hobby. This is our passion. Restoring vehicles to their former glory or upgrading them to have the same look and feel, but with modern advancements. MEET THE OWNERS
JOALDA
Joalda is currently the ONLY FEMALE automotive restoration shop owner in the state of New Mexico! Who grew up surrounded by anything "vintage." It wasn't until her late teens did her passion for working on classic vehicles really begin. Starting her career in the medical field to unexpectedly becoming a business owner of a Hot Rod Shop, at 25. During a global pandemic with NO business background. Has posed its' challenges, but has become Joalda's greatest accomplishment. Finding talent and success in both automotive fabrication and entrepreneurship, proves that hard work, and dedication can lead to greatness. Joalda hopes to inspire more young women to join the automotive industry, as well as motivating young adults to achieve success via entrepreneurship.
JASON
Jason grew up in Smyrna TN. His love and passion for anything car, truck and motorcycle related began at a very young age. From car shows, to model cars, magazines, and toys. Jason has since dedicated his entire life to anything with an engine, and is all he knows. After moving back to New Mexico, in 2008 he quickly began working on legitimizing his automotive career. He then graduated from WyoTech in 2010, at age 20. Jason has a strong eye for detail, and doesn't let anything leave his shop that isn't to his liking. Creating an empire off a life long hobby, is his dream come true.
